I took this picture driving on the old highway between Courtenay and Campbell River. I love the pink hues of light that silhouette the mountains. I was born in the UK, left in 1996, and settled in Canada in 2002. I have lived in the Caribbean, New Zealand, Israel and now here. No matter where I have ventured in the world, the ocean is nearby.
